Since July 2024 there has been full fibre internet to the home in most of Sheringham.
The fibre was installed by UPP which is owned by Nexfibre. The service will be open to multiple ISPs in 2025 but for the moment it can only be bought by Virgin Media. Virgin Media offer a range of packages up to 2Gb/s upload and download, you can view the packages here: https://www.virginmedia.com/
Lightspeed and BT will also offer full fibre to the home and is planned for late 2024 and early 2025.
Mobile Networks:
Just as the best value Internet Access is not with the old incumbent BT its also true that the major networks tend to offer less minutes/lower data allowances compared with Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs)
These virtual operators offer sim deals that allow you to swap your sim and transfer your existing number and start paying much less than you may be paying now. These virtual operators operate through existing networks and use the existing infrastructure: for instance, 1PMobile use EE and Voxi use Vodafone.
Kieran Bhalerao a valuable member of the Facebook page: Sheringham Real Fibre Broadband (https://www.facebook.com/Sheringhambroadband/) has written a very handy guide to help you work out the best deal from the variety of Mobile Virtual Network Operators, you can download his PDF guide here:
